INCOME FROM COMMERCIAL ESTABLISHMENTS IN MUNICIPAL SPACES
Full exemption from paying rent for all commercial establishments in municipal spaces (municipal council or companies) that are closed. This measure is in force until June 30, 2020.
Kiosks and stores located in municipal neighborhoods, even if they remain open, benefit from the exemption.

Yes. The announced measures are aimed at everyone, as part of the municipality’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, to support families, businesses and employment.
However, you can always pay the rent monthly. In this case, after June 30th, you will not need to establish a way to settle the amounts owed.
In CML this possibility does not exist, only in leases managed by GEBALIS.
For contracts that have active payment by Direct Debit, instructions will continue to be given to the bank to make the payment. Tenants may, within 56 days of the debt, request payment to be revoked. In this case, the amount deducted from the bank account will be returned and the debit authorization remains active for the following months.
If you cancel the direct debit authorization, there will be no further debits from your bank account. If you wish to activate this payment method again in the future, you will need to fill out a new form.
If you do not make the payment, CML will assume that you intend to take advantage of this measure. After June 30th, a phased payment plan will be implemented up to a limit of 18 months, without any interest or penalty.
After June 30th, you must regularize the payment of rent for a period of up to 18 months.
You can do it all at once or enter into a rent payment plan with monthly installments.
In the Conventional Income Program, the value of the rent does not depend on the household’s income. For this reason, the program does not provide for the possibility of reviewing the amount of income. However, here you can also pay unpaid rent from April to June for 18 months.
Whenever possible, you should pay pre-existing debts. If you do not pay these installments in April, May and June, your Settlement Agreement will be automatically reviewed from July onwards.
Yes. In a situation of reduced income, such as unemployment, sick leave, employees leaving or reduced income from work.
Preferably, this can be done via email, telephone contact by the tenant/owner or recognized person, or by letter to be sent to CML/GEBALIS.
Proof of the current income of all members of the household and declaration of household composition.

- Pay slips and/or declaration from the employer.
If you do not have passwords, you must request them on the respective websites.
Please note that additional documentation may be requested in case of doubt.
Lease contracts that end before June 30th are automatically extended until that date. The obligation to pay rent remains and you will be able to pay rent from April to June for 18 months.
